I called into a meeting that was on Friday morning, then got pissed since no one was in the meeting. Then got doubly pissed once I realized that it was Thursday

Yeah, this has been my whole week. Thankfully I have parts that came today. Minor parts (radio antenna cable) but parts are parts. plus some time to work on the cruiser. Plus a gram scale so I can put my birthday present book of how to make bread to use.

This whole lockdown and work from home thing has messed me up. All my days blur together, and I often mistake the day of the week. At least I have my string of zoom meetings and work deadlines to keep me grounded. :(

Also, that pic has been me before, at least once into a nice cold rain puddle. Yuck.

I once got called into a meeting and I showed up and grabbed a seat. It was a meeting of all the hardware engineers, and I was a software engineer. Then it dawned on me that I was in the wrong meeting in the wrong meeting room. I quietly let myself out and ventured to the other meeting room on the floor. When I showed up to that meeting, my manager and his boss were there. Yeah, I got RIF’ d. Talk about adding insult to injury.
